CASCINA BALLARIN
| Cascina Ballarin is a family farm. Ever since 1928, began the construction of the house, our family has been working and running the land and the winery. Each sector of the production is performed meticulously and personally from us, in the countryside: pruning in winter, summer jobs, the harvest in autumn, and then the cellar, fermentation, racking, imbottogliamento, packaging. The vineyards are mainly located in the municipality of La Morra and Monforte d'Alba. The cultivated varieties are: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto. (In a very limited area also cabernet sauvignon) The entire production of the grapes turn into wine and get Barolo, Dolcetto d'Alba and Barbera d'Alba. These three wines take on a different name that distinguishes them from each other for the type of aging and the area of grape production. For groups of not less than 10 persons and not more than 20 people organize tastings of our wines paired with meats, cheeses and desserts. On request, we send more information and price list. |
